Advocate Training Classes
Our Pre-Service Volunteer Training (PSVT) consists of 10-15 hours of pre-work (self-study) training, 38 interactive classroom hours, and Courtroom Observation. Classroom hours are often scheduled on evenings and weekends to accommodate busy lifestyles! Many CASAs work full-time, so we try to make our schedule work with varying schedules!
Our next pre-service training will begin in May 2026. The training is scheduled as follows:
- Saturday, May 2, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Monday, May 4, 5:15pm-8:45pm
- Thursday, May 7, 5:15pm-8:45pm
- Saturday, May 9, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Monday, May 11, 5:15pm-8:45pm
- Thursday, May 14, 5:15pm-8:45pm
- Monday, May 18, 5:15pm-8:45pm
- Thursday, May 21, 5:15-8:45pm**
Trainees must attend ALL sessions listed. Applications for this training course will be accepted through Friday, April 17th.
