THE July ADVOCATE OF THE MONTH IS:

Stephanie Goodwin!

While this advocate has only been with CASA for three months, she has done an extraordinary job of jumping right in and getting to work. She hasn’t missed a beat! She went straight into meeting with her kids right after the case started, visiting them in their two different placements.

She has:

• spent quality time getting to know each of them, talking with their caregivers, speaking with their caseworker, attending court, and meeting any other challenges that were thrown her way.
• been diligent in visiting her kids each month in person and making sure to also do a virtual visit with them at least once a month.
• made sure that they know they have someone there for them in their corner.

This advocate is hardworking (she’s currently working on her PhD at SHSU), joyful (there is always a smile on her face) and our sister from the North (The far North… Canada); we’re happy to announce her as this month’s Advocate of the Month!
