The August 2018 Advocate of the Month recognizes:

ANNE GAILLARD!!

Anne is an advocate who pours her heart into her case. In her 7 months serving as a CASA, Anne has continued to maintain near weekly contact or visits with her CASA child and has become a person who her child calls when she needs advice or wants to vent. Anne is well-prepared for court – always submitting well-written court reports with meaningful updates. She works hard and is devoted to her CASA kids and to the CASA program – carving out time regularly to go above and beyond what is expected of her as an advocate. 

Over the summer, Anne spent hours helping tutor her CASA child for a science class. With Anne’s help, the child was able to pass her class! The child reached out to CASA Staff to thank them for having Anne as her advocate – She specifically credited Anne and her help with her being able to pass her class.

Anne is a strong supporter and role model for her CASA teen and an advocate whose devotion is always evident to the CASA staff. Continually asking “what more can I do?”, she recently accepted a second CASA case!

 We are so grateful to have her on our CASA team, and grateful for her determination to positively impact the lives of the children she serves!
