Advocate of the Month – May 2019

The MAY Advocate of the Month is:

RENEE SPENCER!

Renee has been an advocate for almost one year. She can be described as a fun, out spoken, dedicated, and kind. She brings a smile and a great attitude wherever she goes! In Renee’s time on her case, she has bent over backwards to advocate for her kiddos. From monitoring most visits at the CPS office, or to finding the kids a double stroller, Renee can (and will) do it all! Not only was she willing to help the kids, but also the foster family and the biological family as well.
Renee is very consistent and never fails to meet all her monthly contacts. During her case’s last court hearing, Renee gave awesome testimony! She was a key witness in this hearing, was prepared, and was not scared to let her voice be heard.
Beyond her advocacy, Renee is always offering to help the program – Parade of Playhouses, lunches, advocate events, Renee is always there! She is a great addition to the CASA team and we are so thankful to have her!
