Advocate of the Month – October 2020

THE October ADVOCATE OF THE MONTH IS:

Beata krembuszewski!

Beata Krembuszewski is a bright, dedicated, outspoken advocate who started her CASA journey in February 2019. Along with being a CASA, Beata is a full-time student getting her PhD. In her year and a half with CASA she has served a total of three children.

Currently, Beata is the advocate for a teen girl, who Beata stays in regular contact with. She makes sure that the teen’s needs are recognized and that the young girl feels understood and listened to. Beata is always prepared for court and gives AWESOME courtroom testimony. She fights for the young girl’s best interest (in AND out of court), and is willing to have those difficult conversations that most people try to avoid.

Beata always keeps CPS and her CASA supervisor in the loop with whatever is going on. She is great at attending in-services, and pre-COVID, she joined us in the office for lunch to catch up. Overall, Beata is an outstanding advocate, with a kind and patient heart and she is proof that anyone, no matter how busy, can become a voice for a child. We are so grateful to have her as part of the CASA team.
